Foyle Pride Festival returns to Derry/Londonderry from Wednesday the 19th to Saturday the 29th of August for eleven days of LGBTQIA+ celebration, culture, community and protest. The packed programme includes a Queer Art Market, football tournament, poetry workshops, film screenings, storytelling, Irish language events, live theatre, a Taskmaster comedy night at the Guildhall and much more across venues throughout the city. The highlight is the Pride Parade on Saturday the 29th, assembling from 1pm at the North West Transport Hub in Waterside, following the original 1968 Civil Rights route through the city to Guildhall Square, where headline act Beauty Sleep performs from 3pm. The official Pride Party then takes over Sandinos from 7pm, featuring Camp Vamps, David Hoyle and Dusty Grooves. Manchester Village Pride is back — and this time it's truly community owned. Born out of the uncertainty of 2025, this brand new Community Interest Company, run entirely by unpaid volunteers, is bringing Pride back to the heart of the Gay Village where it all began. Four days, three stages, one Village. Friday the 28th launches the weekend, Saturday sees the Pride Parade march through the city centre with community groups marching free of charge, Sunday brings queer arts, culture and live performances, and Monday the 31st is a completely free Community and Family Day featuring Drag Story Time, face painting and youth workshops, closing with the George House Trust Vigil at the Beacon of Hope. Pride Knutsford returns for its second year across the August bank holiday weekend, running from Friday the 28th to Sunday the 30th of August, with celebrations spread across the Cheshire town. What started as a small idea between founders Taven Scott-White and Adam Rickitt in spring 2025 has grown into a packed programme, kicking off with a Friday evening Pride T-Dance before Dungeons & Drag Queens, an EDM Yoga Night, Wine Tasting, Film Night, the Pride Family Picnic and Drag Disco lead into a Pride Brunch wind-down on the Sunday. Last year’s event raised almost £3,000 for The Proud Trust, helping keep vital services open for LGBTQA+ youth, and organisers hope to double that total this year. Stirling Pride returns to the heart of Stirling on Saturday the 29th of August for a completely free day of celebration. The Pride March gathers at Kings Park from 11am, setting off at 11:30am through the city centre before arriving on King Street, where the main stage bursts into life at 12:15pm. Headliners include the legendary Divina De Campo, Pop Idol star Michelle McManus and Belfast drag superstar Blu Hydrangea, hosted by Nicola Meighan and Cherry West. Running from noon until 5pm, the Stirling Pride Market fills the Albert Halls with around 60 stalls, while a free Pride Ceilidh takes place at the Golden Lion Hotel from 12:30pm. Pride In The Borders makes history on Saturday the 29th of August as Galashiels hosts the very first Scottish Borders Pride — a landmark moment for the LGBTQ+ community across this stunning part of Scotland. The day begins with the main parade through the streets of Galashiels, followed by live music, entertainment and stalls at the Volunteer Hall in the afternoon. Roads in Galashiels town centre will be closed between 11:30am and 1pm to allow the parade to take place, so plan your travel accordingly. The event is completely free with no ticket required, making it accessible to as many people as possible. Scunthorpe Pride returns to Church Square in the town centre on Saturday the 29th of August, running from noon until 7pm — free entry and family friendly as always! Now in its fourth year and attracting over 15,000 visitors in 2025, this brilliant grassroots charity event just keeps getting bigger. The eclectic 2026 lineup spans pop, rock, dance, country and UK garage, featuring The Cheeky Girls, UK Garage legends Kristine Blond and Architex, a top Pink tribute act Calli, Cher tribute Marigold Addams, queer country artist Pearl, local rock band Undivided, children's entertainers A-OH-K, local dance troupe Diverse, DJ duo Maroose and Gifty, Voice UK finalist Leona, and a majorette group opening the main stage. Walsall Pride returns to the Arboretum Extension on Saturday the 29th of August for its biggest celebration yet, running from noon until 6pm in the heart of Walsall. Newquay Pride takes over Killacourt in the heart of Newquay on Saturday the 29th of August, running from 10am until 8pm — free entry and everyone is welcome! The Pride March sets off from Barrowfields near Narrowcliff at 12 noon, led by Newquay Samba Band and carrying the world's largest Pride flag through the town centre before arriving at Killacourt around 12:30pm. Hosted by the fabulous Roxie Moron, the main stage lineup features Nathan Stubbings, Roxie Grew, Cinderfella, Giveusachip, Kayleigh Tucker, Victor Von Plume and Zalick. The RSPCA Cornwall Dog Show also runs from 2pm with classes for all shapes, sizes and ages of four-legged friends! Bi Pride UK returns to London on Saturday the 29th of August, this year taking place at the stunning Kings Place arts venue at 90 York Way in King's Cross, running from 2pm until 10pm. Now a registered charity, Bi Pride UK is the UK's dedicated celebration for people who experience attraction beyond gender — bisexual, pansexual, queer, fluid and asexual people and their allies — creating a safe, visible and joyful space where bi+ identities are proudly celebrated without erasure or judgement. Hinckley Pride is back for its fourth year on Saturday the 29th of August, bringing Pride in the Park to the beautiful Hollycroft Park in Hinckley for a free, family-friendly Bank Holiday celebration! The Pride March assembles at Argents Mead at noon, heading down Castle Street and along Bond Street before arriving at Hollycroft Park where a full day of electrifying entertainment awaits until 6pm. The stage features live music, tribute acts, drag queens and interactive areas, with host and resident queen Rubella Vaxine keeping the energy going throughout. Gravesham Pride returns to Gravesend in Kent on Saturday the 29th of August for its fourth annual in-person Pride March and celebration. Organised entirely by dedicated volunteers, this vibrant and free community event has grown year on year since its first in-person event in 2021, when Gravesham Pride made history as one of the first Pride organisations in the world to hold an online pride during the pandemic. The day features a colourful Pride March through Gravesend town centre, followed by a spectacular celebration with live music, drag performances, community stalls, food and refreshments. Great Yarmouth and Waveney returns to the beautiful Norfolk coast on Saturday the 29th of August under the theme Love, Without Limits. The Pride March gathers at 11:30am beside The Nelson Hotel on Marine Parade, setting off at noon through the town before arriving at St George's Park at 12:45pm. The Main Event then takes place at The Drill House, a stunning Grade II listed building, from noon until 8:30pm. Southampton Pride celebrates its tenth anniversary on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of August at Guildhall Square in the heart of the city. The Pride March sets off from Queens Park at 11am on Saturday, heading along Briton Street onto the High Street, pausing for photographs at the iconic Bargate, before continuing up Above Bar Street to Guildhall Square. Hastings Pride celebrates its magnificent tenth anniversary on Sunday the 30th of August, with the Pride Parade taking place through Hastings town centre from 11am until noon, followed by the festival at The Oval — and as always, it's completely free to attend. Teignmouth Pride returns to this beautiful Devon seaside town from Friday the 4th to Sunday the 6th of September for its fourth year of free, inclusive community celebration. Trans Pride Northern Ireland returns to Belfast for its annual ten-day festival from Friday the 4th to Sunday the 13th of September, celebrating and amplifying the voices of the trans, non-binary and intersex community across Northern Ireland. Running since 2018, the festival features a packed programme of events from rallies and cabarets to cafés and professional training sessions, with the week culminating in a large rally at Writer's Square in Belfast city centre, featuring a professional stage with performances and speeches from members of the community. Leicester Pride returns to Abbey Park on Saturday the 5th of September for what promises to be the biggest celebration in its history, with over 20,000 people expected to attend. The Midlands' largest free one-day Pride festival runs from 1pm until 9pm, with a colourful city centre parade beginning outside the Curve Theatre at noon, winding through The Lanes, Jubilee Square and along High Street before arriving at Abbey Park. Bicester Pride returns to Garth Park on Saturday the 5th of September, running from 2pm until 10pm for its biggest celebration yet! Pride In The Port makes history on Saturday the 5th of September as Newport becomes the first Welsh city ever to host UK Pride, with the theme Caru Casnewydd — Croeso Pawb, meaning Love Newport — Welcome All! The event runs from noon until 8pm in the heart of Newport city centre, featuring two stages on High Street and Bridge Street showcasing the finest local and LGBTQIA+ talent, alongside community stalls, a children's arts and crafts zone at The Place, and a Pride Parade through the city streets. Reading Pride returns to King's Meadow on Saturday the 5th of September for a brilliant free day of celebration in the heart of Berkshire. The Love Unites Parade sets off from outside Reading Station, winding through the town centre before arriving at King's Meadow to officially launch the festival at noon. Spread across multiple stages, the day features the Main Stage with live entertainment throughout, the Colours and Fires Stage showcasing local LGBTQ+ talent, the PrideXtra Stage with cabaret, drag and comedy, a Pride Dance tent with DJs, a family-friendly area with entertainment for all ages run by NikNak including drag queen story time, an NHS health and wellbeing space, an Inclusive Sports Area, community stalls and a fantastic selection of food, drink and market traders. Bedford Pride returns on Saturday the 5th of September, organised by Rainbow Bedfordshire for a brilliant free day of LGBTQ+ celebration running from 1pm until 8pm across two venues in the heart of Bedford. The main hub is the Harpur Suite, where community stalls run from 1pm until 4:30pm, a community stage features live performances from 1pm until 8pm, and a dedicated chill out space is available throughout. Meanwhile, Bedford Central Library hosts workshops from 1pm until 5pm — a wonderful addition for those looking for something a little more hands-on. Founded in 2017 by Dannon Robinson after he suffered a homophobic attack in his workplace, Eastleigh Pride has grown into one of Hampshire's most cherished LGBTQIA+ events, transforming the town into a safe and welcoming space for everyone. The day features a Pride March through the town, live music on the main stage, food and shop stalls, fairground rides and a dedicated kids zone packed with family-friendly activities. Basildon Pride Festival returns to Gloucester Park on Saturday the 5th of September for its ninth year of celebration! Merton Pride returns on Saturday the 5th of September for a full day of music, celebration and community connection across two brilliant south London locations. The day kicks off with a Pride Fair at the beautiful Morden Hall Park from 10am until 2pm, featuring community stalls, local organisations, sports clubs, health charities and much more. At 2pm the Pride March sets off from Morden Hall Park, winding through the streets before arriving at the stunning Merton Abbey Mills, where Pride Fest gets underway with live performances from 3pm until 10pm. Channel Islands Pride returns to Guernsey for its landmark tenth anniversary from Friday the 11th to Sunday the 13th of September, celebrating with the tagline Small Seaside Pride. Big City Attitude. On Friday evening, the fun kicks off with a Queer Comedy and Cabaret Night at the Pride Hotel. Saturday is the main event — a Pride Drag Breakfast at 9:30am, followed by the parade gathering at the Rainbow Steps in the Market at 1pm, winding through the High Street and along the seafront before arriving at the Pride Village at the stunning Bathing Pools from 3pm until 9pm, with live entertainment, food, drink, community stalls and breathtaking views of Castle Cornet. Saturday night continues with Pride afterparties, and Sunday brings a fabulous Pool Party. Millport makes history on Saturday the 12th of September as the Isle of Cumbrae hosts its very first Pride celebration, welcoming the LGBTQ+ community, allies, friends and families from across Scotland and beyond. The day features a colourful Pride March through the streets of Millport — a walking parade where everyone is encouraged to bring flags, banners, costumes and colourful accessories to make it a truly vibrant occasion. Participation is free but groups must register in advance at millportpride.wixsite.com/millport-pride. Community stalls and information stands will be hosted at Garrison House, and a dedicated Safe Space at the Cumbrae Youth Hub offers family-friendly activities for children and young people aged up to 25. Milton Keynes Pride Festival returns to the beautiful Campbell Park on Saturday the 12th of September for a full day and evening of free celebration! Penzance Pride arrives at Penzance Promenade on Saturday the 12th of September, running from 11am until 6pm for a completely free, family-friendly celebration. At 12 noon the Pride March sets off from Market Jew Street by Peacocks, with the public invited to gather from 11:45am — the march takes around 30 minutes and arrives at the Promenade to a fantastic welcome. The afternoon features a performance stage with live singers, comedians, dancers, drag queens, drag kings and cabaret performers, an all-day bar, food and drink retailers, and Cornwall Pride merchandise. Chorlton Pride returns on Saturday the 12th of September, once again taking over the surrounds of St Clement's Church at the junction of Edge Lane and St Clement's Road, midway between Wilbraham Road and Chorlton Green. Organisers say they've listened to feedback from previous years and are working hard to make 2026 the best celebration yet. The festival site is fully accessible, with wheelchair access to the church hall and accessible toilets available, plus a signposted Quiet Space for anyone needing time away from the crowds throughout the day. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome too. As there's no onsite parking, visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport — Chorlton Metrolink stop is about half a mile away, with the 85, 85A and 86 buses also serving the area. Pride in Gloucestershire celebrates its twentieth anniversary on Saturday the 12th of September at Gloucester Park, running from noon until 8:30pm. The Pride March gathers outside Gloucester Cathedral from 11am, setting off at 11:45am and arriving at the park at 12:30pm. Headlining this milestone year is Nadine Coyle, with a spectacular lineup across three stages including the Main Stage, Community Voices Stage and a Debut Stage for emerging local talent. Trans Pride Birmingham returns on Saturday the 19th of September for another powerful day of trans visibility, solidarity and celebration in the heart of the Midlands. The first Trans Pride in the Midlands, founded in 2021 and run by trans and non-binary people for trans and non-binary people, Trans Pride Birmingham creates accessible, safe spaces where the trans and gender diverse community can simply exist, be celebrated and be heard. Completely volunteer-run and operating as non-hierarchically as possible, this grassroots event hosts activities, performances, community stalls and speakers across the city, with a protest march at its heart standing up for trans rights at a time when they have never been more important. Totnes Pride returns to South Devon from Thursday the 24th to Sunday the 27th of September for four days of events, workshops, talks and parties celebrating this year's theme of Queer Joy! Spanning over 15 venues across Totnes town centre and surrounding areas, this wonderful not-for-profit, volunteer-led celebration spotlights queer culture and is open to absolutely everyone. Trans Pride Cardiff returns to the Welsh capital on Saturday the 26th of September, bringing Wales' only dedicated Trans Pride back to the streets of Cardiff for another powerful and joyful day of visibility, solidarity and celebration. Established in 2018 and running its first event in 2019, Trans Pride Cardiff was founded in response to the commercialisation of Pride and remains proudly grassroots, community-led and rooted in protest. Preston Pride returns to the Flag Market in the heart of Preston city centre on Saturday the 26th of September for its fifteenth year of free community celebration! Organised entirely by volunteers since 2012, Preston Pride brings together the LGBTQ+ community and supporters from across Lancashire and the North West for a full day of live music, performances, drag, community stalls and a fantastic welcoming atmosphere in one of England's most historic market squares. Cumbria Pride returns to Carlisle on Saturday the 26th of September for a fantastic, completely free day of celebration! The Pride Info Market fills Carlisle City Centre from 10am until 2pm, featuring stalls from organisations including Carlisle United, Carlisle Youth Zone, Healthwatch Cumberland, National Trust, Inspira, Shared Lives Cumberland and the University of Cumbria. Then from 1pm until 6pm, the Big Pride Party takes over Box Arena with a brilliant lineup — headlined by George Shelley with his new band Lightlines, joined by Kyle Finn, Michael T Ogilvie, PJ Taylor, Sam Ashby from Big Brother, local queens Dee Licious, Miss Pearl and Sandie, hosted by the fabulous Reese Wetherspoon! Shrewsbury Pride returns for its fourth year across the weekend of Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of September, once again transforming Shrewsbury town centre into a rainbow-coloured celebration of community, creativity and joy. Trans Pride Exeter celebrates its second year on Saturday the 3rd of October with a powerful protest march through Exeter town centre to St Sidwell's Centre, where a vibrant community afternoon awaits. Organised by a dedicated group of trans and non-binary individuals and allies, Trans Pride Exeter exists to combat discrimination and advocate for the rights of trans, intersex and non-binary people locally and nationally. The community afternoon features talks and discussions about trans issues, a marketplace for trans artists and creators, short films, workshops, a café, and acoustic performances and spoken word. The event is completely free and open to all supporters of the trans community. Silver Pride returns to Walthamstow on Silver Sunday the 4th of October for its fifth year — this time looking north! Aimed at LGBTQIA+ people over 50, Silver Pride is a wonderful, warm and welcoming celebration for older members of the queer community, featuring the usual brilliant mix of dancing, live entertainment and good company. Come and start the afternoon with tea and cake, followed by a full buffet and pizza throughout the day.
